Puppy Kindergarten Class

Service Description

Puppy Kindergarten is for dogs 12 weeks to 6 months who have completed their age-appropriate vaccinations. Dogs and handlers will learn basic skills, sit, down, and stay but the focus of the class will be to help develop a life long positive relationship between dogs and owners. The instructors of this class use only positive reinforcement training techniques. We teach dogs what to do instead of what not to do using games, marker words, and shaping. Class members will receive a 33-page eBook that outlines the class curriculum, instructions on how to teach each concept, and other valuable puppy information. The instructors of this class reserve the right to establish if this is not an appropriate setting for a dog by the end of the second week of class. If a dog displays high anxiety in the class by continuously barking, lunging, growling at other dogs, or showing signs of extreme stress, the owner and dog will be referred to a private canine behaviorist.
